Based in Sheffield and working across the UK, our team combines technical fire engineering expertise with practical construction experience. We support projects from early-stage design through to construction, handover, occupation and ongoing building compliance.
This joined-up approach allows us to identify potential issues early, provide proportionate recommendations and help clients avoid unnecessary costs, remedial work and project delays.

Our approach to fire safety and compliance
Fire strategy and fire engineering
We support architects, developers and contractors with detailed fire strategy plans for new developments, refurbishments and change-of-use projects. Our strategies set out how fire safety measures protect escape routes, building occupants and the wider resilience of the building. Where standard guidance is not suitable, we can develop performance-based fire engineering solutions in line with BS 7974, supporting compliance while allowing greater design flexibility.
Construction-phase fire assurance
Construction-phase fire assurance provides independent oversight of fire safety measures while a project is being delivered. Our work can include site inspections, evidence gathering for compartmentation and fire stopping, installation reviews and the preparation of regulator-ready documentation. By identifying potential issues during construction, we help clients reduce the risk of delays, extensive remedial work and problems at handover or Gateway 3.
Fire safety compliance and risk management
We provide comprehensive fire risk assessments and compliance support for schools, healthcare environments, residential buildings, commercial properties and other occupied premises. Our consultants can also undertake compartmentation surveys, fire door inspections and wider compliance reviews.
