Description
Our 1.2m x 1.2m Fire Blanket Soft Pack provides a compact and easily accessible means of tackling small fires by smothering the flames and restricting the supply of oxygen. Supplied in a durable red soft pack with clearly printed operating instructions and twin pull tapes, it is suitable for kitchens, staff areas, catering environments, offices, workshops and other premises where a fire blanket is required.
The 1.2m x 1.2m blanket is manufactured from 100% fibreglass fabric and is designed for straightforward emergency deployment. Simply pull the two release tapes downwards and outwards to remove the blanket, then carefully position it over the fire to fully cover the burning material. Its compact soft-pack format allows it to be mounted in an accessible position without taking up excessive wall space.
The fire blanket is manufactured to BS EN 1869:2019 and is intended for single use. Once deployed, it should be discarded and replaced.
