Job Title: Fire Safety Consultant

Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 per annum

Location: Working from our Sheffield office with the option for hybrid work from home. There will be travel to various client sites with the primary locations include South Yorkshire, Lancashire, Derbyshire, and London, with occasional travel to other UK regions such as Cornwall, Kent, Scotland, and Wales.

About Us: Due to rapid growth J.S.O Fire Safety Consultants are currently recruiting a Fire Safety Consultant to join our expanding team. We are based in South Yorkshire but have clients nationwide.

Job Description: This role is to provide clients with expert fire consultancy services, including fire risk assessments, fire door surveys, compartmentation surveys, fire safety & evacuation plans and client account management. Working from our Sheffield office with the option for hybrid work from home and with daily travel to various client sites as required. Primary locations include South Yorkshire, Lancashire, Derbyshire, and London, with occasional travel to other UK regions such as Cornwall, Kent, Scotland, and Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fire risk assessments across various property types, including commercial, education, healthcare, residential, and construction.
• Undertaking Fire Door Surveys (Training can be provided).
• Undertaking Compartmentation Surveys (Training can be provided).
• Create digital Fire Safety & Evacuation Plans (Training can be provided).
• Provide fire safety advice to clients to support their ongoing fire safety commitments.
• Attend sites nationwide due to the site-specific nature of our risk assessments.
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Perform any other related duties as required by business need

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in conducting Fire Risk Assessments.
• Membership with an industry recognised body such as IFSM or IFE
• Ability to use Microsoft office packages
• Must have full UK driving license and own vehicle – mileage paid
