Description
Our 1.8m x 1.8m Fire Blanket Hard Case provides a larger-format fire blanket for premises where greater coverage may be required. Supplied in a durable red rigid case with clear operating instructions and twin pull tapes, it is suitable for commercial kitchens, catering environments, workshops, laboratories, industrial premises and other locations where a larger fire blanket is appropriate.
The 1.8m x 1.8m blanket is manufactured from 100% fibreglass fabric and is designed for straightforward emergency deployment. The rigid hard case helps protect the blanket while keeping it clearly visible and ready for use. To deploy, pull the two release tapes downwards and outwards, remove the blanket and carefully position it over the fire to fully cover the burning material and help restrict the supply of oxygen.
The fire blanket is manufactured to BS EN 1869:2019 and is intended for single use. Once deployed, it should be discarded and replaced.
