Description
Our 9ltr foam fire extinguisher with a 21A 233B fire rating is a high-capacity AFFF foam extinguisher designed for strong, dependable protection against Class A fires (wood, paper, cardboard, textiles) and Class B fires (flammable liquids such as petrol, solvents, paints and oils). This is the kind of unit we typically recommend when a premises needs a higher-rated foam extinguisher for larger floor areas, higher fuel loads, or locations where flammable liquids are present, and where we want clean, controlled discharge compared with powder.
Because a 21A 233B foam fire extinguisher provides substantial knockdown, it is well suited to warehouses, workshops, factories, trade counters, schools, larger offices, retail stockrooms and flammable liquid stores. It is supplied fully charged with a wall-mount bracket, so we can position it at key points such as escape routes, loading bays, high-risk storage areas and plant spaces in line with the premises fire risk assessment. It is also fitted with a safety relief valve and a spray nozzle compliant with the EN 3-7 dielectric test (35 kV), supporting use where live electrical equipment may be present when the risk assessment permits.
For duty holders looking for a certified, compliant foam fire extinguisher in the UK, this model is BSI Kitemarked, UKCA/CE approved and MED (Ship’s Wheel) approved, and it is compliant with the Merchant Shipping (Marine Equipment) Regulation (Conformity Assessment Procedure Module B). We can also support with installation, commissioning and ongoing servicing so the extinguisher is correctly sited, identified and maintained to the expected UK servicing standard.
