Our 9kg ABC dry powder fire extinguisher is a high-capacity, multi-risk fire extinguisher designed for demanding environments where we need strong first-aid firefighting capability for mixed hazards. This model is rated 55A 233B and is suitable for Class A fires (solid combustibles) and Class B fires (flammable liquids), and it is also suitable for Class C (flammable gases) and use on electrical equipment where the fire risk assessment permits. It is a strong choice for warehouses, workshops, depots, garages, logistics sites, plant rooms and commercial premises where we want one extinguisher type that covers a broad range of risks and supports portfolio standardisation.
Dry powder fire extinguishers are frequently specified for industrial and transport-related settings because they offer rapid knockdown and high fire ratings, particularly where flammable liquids may be present (subject to risk assessment). This 9kg unit provides extended discharge capability compared to smaller powder extinguishers and is supplied with a wall mounting bracket so we can keep it securely positioned, visible and accessible at key locations.
Please note: This fire extinguisher is supplied uncommissioned. To ensure it has been correctly installed, identified and made ready for service, commissioning by a competent person is required. We can provide commissioning and installation services as part of our fire extinguisher supply package.
