Our 12kg ABC dry powder fire extinguisher (55A 233B/C) is a high-capacity, heavy-duty fire extinguisher designed for demanding environments where we need strong multi-class protection and extended discharge capability. It is suitable for Class A fires (solid combustibles), Class B fires (flammable liquids) and Class C fires (flammable gases), and it is also suitable for electrical risk areas where the premises fire risk assessment permits. This makes it an ideal choice for warehouses, industrial units, workshops, depots, loading bays, plant rooms, fuel handling areas and high-risk commercial premises where a larger extinguisher improves coverage and response capability.
Dry powder fire extinguishers are commonly specified for industrial and transport-related settings because they offer rapid knockdown, strong fire ratings and broad hazard coverage, particularly where flammable liquids and gases may be present (subject to risk assessment). The 12kg size is often selected where we want higher fire ratings and longer discharge time than standard 6kg or 9kg units, supporting better protection for larger open spaces and higher fuel loads. This extinguisher is supplied with a wall mounting bracket to support secure siting, consistent placement and clear access at key locations.
Please note: This fire extinguisher is supplied uncommissioned. To ensure it has been correctly installed, identified and made ready for service, commissioning by a competent person is required. We can provide commissioning and installation services as part of our fire extinguisher supply package.
